Dr. Justin Dredge grew up in Southern California and graduated from Torrey Pines high school in San Diego. He then attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, where he earned a B.S in Biology. Dr. Dredge received his medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine in New York. He completed his internship at Harbor UCLA, where he met his wife Stephanie, who was completing her residency in Emergency Medicine. He then moved to Loma Linda University for his ophthalmology residency. Dr. Dredge completed a Glaucoma Fellowship at the world-renowned USC-Roski Eye Institute in Los Angeles, training under the mentorship of world-renowned leaders in glaucoma. Dr. Dredge and his wife welcomed their daughter Ava in November of 2021.
Dr. Dredge’s research interests include the diagnosis and management of glaucoma. He has published papers on the subject of glaucoma and external diseases of the eye. He is committed to utilizing the most recent methods and technology in the medical and surgical treatment of his patients in a compassionate and ethical manner.
Dr. Dredge is an avid runner and downhill skier. He loves music and plays the violin and guitar. His favorite activity is spending time with his wife Stephanie, daughter Ava, and dogs Milo and Marshall.
Dr. Dredge is passionate about providing vital ocular health throughout the world. He has been on numerous surgical missions to Peru to assist in providing the people of the Sacred Valley of Peru with cataract surgery. Dr. Dredge looks forward to future opportunities to serve the underprivileged internationally as well as at home in the United States.
